The rhinoceros is a masterpiece of creation—a blend of raw, majestic power and unyielding force. Whether it’s effortlessly toppling trees or maintaining a steady, earth-shaking trot, the rhino commands a level of respect that few other creatures can match.
For me, the rhino is more than an animal; it’s a blueprint for living. It represents the traits we often lack but desperately need: a thick skin to weather criticism, a single-minded focus when charging toward a goal, and the sheer resilience to shrug off metaphorical torpedoes that would sink a lesser vessel.
This philosophy clicked for me years ago when I stumbled upon Scott Alexander’s Rhinoceros Success. I didn’t just read that book; I devoured it. It changed my internal compass, shifting me from a passive observer to a "hard-charging" participant in my own life.
I’ve since passed these principles down to my family. Today, we don’t just admire the rhino—we live the life. We are a family of rhinos, thick-skinned and charging hard toward our future.
